The Virtual University, Pakistan’s first University based completely on modern Information and Communication Technologies, was established by the Government as a public sector, not-for-profit institution with a clear mission: to provide extremely affordable world class education to aspiring students all over the country.

Abstract

Due to advancements in information technology, the most recent research like WBAN (Wireless Body Area Network) needs more attention. Many researchers published different routing protocols and represented graphically relevant to Wireless Body Area Network. Before selection of particular routing protocol performance analysis is one of the major step. In this research, performance analysis is carried out on Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) for direct communication and Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector (AODV) for indirect communication by using Network Simulator (NS2). Three common measures like delay, Jitter and throughput are involved during comparison of given above protocols graphically per packet and overtime along with different transmission and interference ranges. By using IBM SPSS Statistical Software, CSV images can be imported and data can be computed with the help of mean formula. Computed result shows that AODV Protocol performs very well as compared to DSDV Protocol.
